About This Item
Milano: Tarentel Press / Tatantola, 1957. 24p., self-wraps magazine, stapled into 12x8.5 inch color wraps, plentifully illustrated with b&w and bright multi-color political cartoons. Artwork and page layout are quite skilled. A handled copy with slight dust-soil and crimping along spinefold, a few dealer's notes in pencil on front cover (and a high price), while back cover bears a price sticker (low). "Questo numero speciale della nostra rivista satirica mensile e diffuso in italiano, tedesco [German], inglese e francese e viene distribuita gratuitamente". Postwar Italy was heavily influenced by American propagandists to curdle Italian sympathy with the left (and worse was done, not short of assassination).
