Ballantine Books. Good. 1963. First Edition; Second Printing. Softcover. Ballantine 2nd printing 1963, Paperback 12mo (7" tall) in fair to good condition. #10 in the Tarzan series. Age tanning to page edges, fairly heavy inside covers. Lending library stamp on endpage but no other markings. Light edge stain (watermark? ) affects bottom edge of pages but pages are not wrinkled and turn freely. Cover has several creases, moderate edgewear and soiling to rear and spine, small tears spine ends. Tarzan is in a strange country of stone age savages and knee-high warriors who raise the miniature African deer as though it were a horse.... But the Minunians are not so small that they cannot take the ape-man captive and put him to endless work in the dank tunnels of their underground quarries... [110-osl] ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall .

Tarzan and the Ant Men is the tenth book in Edgar Rice Burroughs' series of novels about the jungle hero Tarzan. It was first published as a seven-part serial in the magazine Argosy All-Story Weekly for February 2, 9, 16, and 23 and March 1, 8, and 15, 1924. It was first published in book form in hardcover by A. C. McClurg in September, 1924. The story was also adapted for Gold Key Comics in Tarzan #174-175 (1968).
