Novato, CA: Presidio Press, 1983 WYSIWYG pricing--no added shipping charge for standard shipping within USA. Black boards, foil titles on spine, endpaper maps, xvi, 253 pp, many b & w photos in text, index. Corners bumped. DJ extremities rubbed, small tears (under 1 cm) with creasing to bottom edge. Newby was a bombarier in the Fifteenth Air Force, 460th Bombardment Group, which had the task of shutting down the Romanian oil refineries that were under German control in 1943. As such, his story has the immediacy of personal experience augmented by official records and the recollections of his colleagues. Shipping weight 2 lbs.. . VG/VG. 23½ X 15½ cm.
