Colour pictures by Ionicus 48pp No date as normal with Blackie books but inscription on front title page by the author 'To the three Bells with good wishes from the author Hazel Usherwood' dated September 1954. Assumed first printing. No dustwrapper. All pages present and correct and tightly bound. Lightly marked illustrated boards with minor signs of handling commensurate with age. Corners bumped. Interior pages clean and tidy. A nice copy in presentable condition. 48pp. Tally which is short for Talisman is a little yet rather useful training plane. Hazel Underwood was not a prolific author and books signed by her are very uncommon. Not easily found signed by the author.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. Illus. by Ionicus. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
