Hardback book is tight clean and square, the hinges are very firm. Boards sharp and clean, title and panel gilt bright. Text block clean, with light age toning to edges, more pronounced to the top edge. The pages are crisp and unblemished. The copyright page has a previous owners neat pencil notation "54". Feels tight and gently read. Sharp spine ends. Very good condition. Jacket has minor edge wear. There is a 25mm split to foot of front joint with an associated tear across the spine. The spine is toned and has some light wear to the head, with neat ink pen notation "54" at foot. The rear panel is clean, again with a couple of 3mm closed tears to the top edge with associated light creasing, and some light wear to edges. Jacket grades very good, and looks very presentable on the shelf in the fitted archival cover. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover.
