First, Second and Third Series published and bound together covering the period from the earliest times to 1750. Rubbed marbled covers with worn black half-leather, rubbed gilt lettering and decoration on the spine. Split in leather on front external joint and some loss on upper spine end. Covers are firmly attached, binding is sound, pages are a little darkened with additional foxing to the prelims and occasionally throughout but are otherwise clean.
