Title to spine, title to head of upper cover, with author and publisher to foot, between is an on laid arch-shaped picture of Timmy Tiptoes, illustrated endpapers. Very slightly rubbed, gift inscription in ink opposite dedication page, otherwise internally quite bright and clean. Variant in brown boards. With a frontispiece and twenty-six full page colour illustrations (as called for). The first or second impression, which are identical, with the title dated 1911. Quinby 20, Linder, pages 208-209. First Edition. Hardback. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Potter, Beatrix. 24mo.
