Take Over was one of the longer-running underground papers of which Madison had three simultaneously at one point. Cover story is "Free on Bail: David Fine Tells His Story". Fine was one of the perpretrators of the 1970 bombing of the Army Math Research Building at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He went on the run following the bombing and was captured in California on January 7, 1976. Also includes articles on telephone hacking, a teacher's strike in Madison, 3 half-page R. Crumb cartoons, and more.

This issue has two full-page articles on Wisc. prisons, one by a prisoner inside Fox Lake Correctional Institution and another an overview of the Wisc. prison system as a whole. Also a two-page spread featuring an article by a Madison woman (Joanna Lupinek) who was at San Quentin in CA when George Jackson and other inmates were killed by prison guards: "The statement confirms prisoner accounts & other evidence that the killings were planned & organized murder by prison officials & guards."
