Newton Abbott: David & Charles (Holdings) Limited, 1969. First Edition. Yellow Boards. Very Good/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Large. Illustrated. 180 pp, A first edition copy ( 1969) in wrapper ( black spine). Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Illustrated with a colour photographic frontispiece plate and b/w illustration plates throughout. Light bump to the head and a slight bump to the tail of the spine. Slight foxing to the upper fore edges and one page corner has been turned, leaving a neat crease. Clean and tight. Dust wrapper is price clipped and is protected in a fullly reversible plastic sleeve. There is a little rubbing to the edges of the wrapper and remains clean and complete. A very good copy in a very good minus wrapper.
