Suttree by Cormac McCarthy - 1980

Fine, Unclipped d/w shows original price on inside flap £6.95. This is a beautiful copy of this scarce McCarthy title. No inscriptions, erased pencil price on ffep. The binding is square and tight, some very light scuffing to the textblock, with rubbing to the rear panel of the d/w. There are no tears or nicks to the d/w but I notice now after removing the Brodart for photos that on very close inspection that there has been some minor restoration to what must have been a closed tear to the head of the d/w and also to the tail of the d/w. The dealer I bought this book from would have used an archival restoration expert in Pretoria. The restoration has been extremely professionally done. I offer free shipping with DHL on my books but this book is heavier than standard and may require extra shipping. It would be hard to find as nice a copy of Suttree in UK 1st as this.
