Sterling condition hardcover copy, with unbruised tips, tight binding, and clean internals, showing only very slight shelf- and edge-wear; not ex-library, with neither underlining nor highlighting anywhere. Bound quite handsomely in diamond-shaped paper title label to front cover, pastel blue lettering to cover and spine. Just a touch of smudging to bottom fore-tips. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear, protected by a plastic coat, dust jacket not being price-clipped. [3], 4-349 pp. Augmented with several hundred black-and-white and full color illustrations, printed on high-gloss paper. Bilingual text (in Finnish and English). An indispensable reference work on Finnish design and art history, cookware, furniture, beginning with the editor's Note of Acknowledgments. Table of Contents has a glaring typo, but there are three Parts, one being devoted to a general social history of design in Finland, one to the work of Kuka Kukin (Who's Who) in Finnish Design, and then Design Centers, Museums, galleries, and show rooms (in Finnish language).Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
