The First UK printing published by Phoenix House, London in 1993. The First Trade edition preceded only by the signed limited edition (100 copies) issued by the Sixth Chamber Press. The correct first issue with olive green end-papers. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with light toning to the text-block and outer page edges due to the quality of the paper stock used. Free from inscriptions. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ condition. Some light creasing at the spine ends and the upper edges. A small nick with associated creasing at the lower front spine fold. Some fading of the colouring to the spine. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. The book has been signed (without dedication) to the title page. Loosely inserted is the publisher's 'Review Copy' slip announcing the publication date as the '25th March 1993' and a Compliments Slip from the newspaper 'Scotland on Sunday'.
