New York: Boo Hooray Gallery, 2011. First edition. CD_rom. Fine. Single compact disc in illustrated cardboard sleeve and then contained in a clear plastic self-sealing envelope. Previously unreleased material from the MacLise archive. Appears to be in fine unplayed condition. O.C.L.C. locates one copy (NYU). They indicate that 500 of these were produced. Monologues with music.

Amsterdam: Ins and Outs Publications, 1980. 1st edition. Soft cover. Fine/No Jacket (as issued). Near Fine. 8vo, 112pp, printed wrappers. Dense and intense issue, includes a photo of Angus MacLise and a mention of his passing in a piece written a few months afterward by Gerard Malanga; also a host of related luminaries, including William Levy. Minor outer wear and soil, no markings.

SZ Press, 1984. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. Crisp, unmarked copy. The wrapper is clean, corners sharp; there is a small dent on top edge of wrapper otherwise in like new condition. The binding is tight. Introduction by Ira Cohen; this copy is not signed by him.

NY: Boo-Hooray, [2011].. Softbound. First edition. Published on the occasion of an exhibition. Profusely illustrated throughout (much in color) with MacLise's art, manuscripts, calligraphy, publications, and rare photographs of him. MacLise is probably best known as the original drummer for the Velvet Underground who was later the co-founder of the hippie, drug-fueled Bardo Matrix publishing outfit in Kathmandu where he died at the age of 41. Barely perceptible touch of fading to spine, else very fine.

New York: The Floating Bear, 1963. 1st edition. Soft cover. Fair/No Jacket (as issued). Fair. 4to, 34pp (mimeographed), corner-stapled. (Last two leaves supplied in photocopy.) Addressed to poet Bill Deemer. This issue of the Floating Bear features input by Billy Linich (Billy Name) of Andy Warhol's Factory (Billy Linich's Party by John Daley ties into Warhol's first Haircut film from around this time, late 1963). Also contributions by Ray Johnson; an advertisement for the Fluxus Anthology (available from LaMonte Young) and a tape of Young with Angus MacLise, Tony Conrad, and Marian Zazeela; Fred Herko dance classes; C #4 for 25¢ from Ted Berrigan; etc. The first half of the issue (19pp) is devoted to "The Art of Literature" by Philip Whalen. Top leaf detached from staple; last two leaves are lacking and are supplied in photocopy. Horizontal publisher's fold, some general wear.
