San Francisco: Retail Department Store Employees Union, Local 1100, 1937. Two leaves, mimeographed on both sides, one leaf - August 11th issue - 8.5x14 inches, August 12th issue is 8.5x13 inches, paper toned, minor creasing and a few very minor closed tears else good condition. The union, a fairly militant AFL affiliated local, was mostly women white collar workers. This strike was against Woolworth and Newberry stores in San Francisco. The August 12th issue notes that the picket line of Italian & Chinese women at Stockton Street store effectively kept everyone out.
