Fair in blue cloth, gilt spine and cover titles, wear/fraying to spine ends, shaken, mended spine splits, inner hinge cracked with webbing obvious, fraying to spine tips. Good reading copy. Stretcher Bearers-- the humorous and tragic story of the Canadian Fifth Ambulance Corps, the battlefields of Europe, mainly France, the untold hardships, the wounded, anecdotes etc. Photographs, 8 folding maps ( with the first map, double- paged and counting as two, and loosely inserted at p. 32) .
