Antiquariat Haas, 2005 4to (34 cm), 206 pp. Publisher's cloth (minor shelf-wear). This volume presents descriptions and illustrations of 191 maps from a composite atlas compiled in Venice during the second half of the 16th century, likely in the shop of Fernando Bertelli under the Sign of San Marco. Within this atlas are 15 previously unrecorded historical maps, originally prepared by Giacomo Gastaldi (c. 1500 - 1566), a Venetian cartographer, for an edition of Strabo's Geography.
