Signed on the front end paper by the author. Jacket is very good. Not price clipped. also fine with no tears, creases or marks. Minor wear to spine folds and extremities. Minor fading to spine.Basis for the movie "The Sound of Music". Previously published by Lippincott but there is no publisher information cited. Originally published in 1949 but no date cited on this copy, but post 1969. Eight illustrations by Agathe and Martina Trapp.
