With numerous illustrations, some in colour. Boards and spine are lightly marked and worn. Leading corners, edges and spine are bumped, worn and nicked. Page block and rough-cut pages are tanned and marked. Labels on pastedowns. One centimetre tears on title page and rear pastedown hinges. Binding is visible throughout, but remains intact. Contents remain legible throughout. HCW. Hardcover. Acceptable/No Dust Jacket. Used.

The binder has cut vol. 1 very tight and so the two volumes are different lengths! A mixed set. A Mudie's Select Library copy with yellow label.. Hard Cover. 8vo.

London: John Camden Hotten. Cloth - Hard Cover. Good+/No Dust Jacket. No date, though circa 1872. Volume I: Hyde Park and Volume II: St. James Park & The Green Park with separate pagination and bound together under one cover. 331 & 272 pages followed by a 32 page, unpaginated, catalog of important titles for 1872. Four colored plates. Blind and gilt stamped cloth covers remain clean and bright, showing only very light edge wear. Book plate on front paste down. Foxing on edges of text block. Volume remains tight and is otherwise clean and intact.

Green cloth covered boards with gilt pictorial front and gilt titling to spine; illustrated with numerous black and white illustrations and 4 color plates. Undated, but presumed published circa 1875. Some mild toning to spine with some nicking and rubbing to spine ends. Small inverted L-shaped puncture within title on spine. Rubbing and some bumping to corners of boards. Rectagular label ghost on front free endpaper. Small 17 mm closed tear and creasing to bottom corner of first page of Chapter One. Occasional spots of foxing to initial and final pages. Binding quite sound, although mull is visible between pages 384 and 385. . Hard Cover. Very Good.
