Size quarto, pages not numbered, blue paper covered boards with oval paper vignette portrait of jesus to front cover, darker blue titles to front cover and spine, spine section blue cloth. Condition good, corners and edges rubbed, spots to page edges and light spotting to pages in book, gift inscription dated 1938 to front end-paper. Contains full page black and white illustrations, and a Six full colour double page pop-up scenes: The Anunciation, The Nativity, Jesus talking to little Children, The Last Supper, The Trial by Pontius Pilate and Christ risen from the Tomb. The pop ups are in very clean condition, intact and nice and bright

Hard back binding in publisher's original blue cloth covers, navy blue title lettering to the spine and to the front cover, colour illustrated end papers. Quarto 9½'' x 7½''. Contains three stories 28 pp, 32 pp, 22 pp with 9 double page colour pop-ups / scenes, other monochrome illustrations. The spine is faded and marked, the half-title and titles pages have been totally marked with child's blue crayon, beyond which the pages are clean, the pop-ups do not have any tears and remain crisp and tight.
