Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Brown cloth boards with bright gold lettering on spine. 230 pp. This is the story of a railroad which covered 64 miles between Williams and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. From its early history in the 1890s, the line grew to support mines, tourism, ranching and logging. The line became the flagship of the Santa Fe Railway and served for many years as the builder and supplier of Grand Canyon Village before the creation of the National Park Service in 1919. The line was discontinued in 1968. A pristine and clean copy in Brodart Mylar.
