London: Collins, 1956. 1st Edition. Red Cloth. Very Good/Very Good Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Chalmers, David. 126pp. A first edition with wrapper. Illustrated with several drawings and a frontispiece page by David Chalmers. Light shelf wear to the head and tail of the spine, hidden under the wrapper. A few page corner tips have been turned, leaving neat creases. The pages are otherwise clean and tight. Dust wrapper is not price clippedA few short tears from the wrapper edges, now repaired with acid free archival tape to the reverse of the wrapper. A couple of small 0.5 cm areas of loss from the head of the front of the wrapper. The wrapper remains bright and fresh. A very good copy.
