London & NY: Nister & Dutton, no date, circa 1900. 8vo (7 x 9"), orange gilt pictorial cloth, all edges gilt, some cover soil and spine faded a bit else VG+. 29 fairy tales are illustrated by E.S. HARDY with 6 amazing chromolithographed plates, lovely full page half tones and a profusion of full page and smaller black and whites throughout the text. A lovely edition of these tales and a fine example of a children's book from the turn of the last century.
