Little did I know that the very person with whom I was communicating then would turn up white, angelically and incredibly beautiful on the arm of my future editor and friend. Eh bien, c'est comme ca - and thank goodness for you both! John." Laid in is a homemade Christmas card from Nichols SIGNED by him for his wife and cat.
