Jonathan Cape, 1969. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Third printing of the 1960 revised edition. The volume has a bumped top front corner and light soiling to the page edges. The uniformly corner clipped dust jacket (price of 30s.net is present), has some light edge wear, and a mildly sunned spine with three stray marks. The jacket is now sleeved in mylar.
Synopsis
Stephen Hero is a posthumously-published autobiographical novel by Irish author James Joyce. Its published form reflects only a portion of an original manuscript, part of which was lost. Many of its ideas were used in composing A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man.
