A detailed account of the steam vessels built in Monmouth County, N.J. during 1841-1894. Has over 135 illustrations. The author was a resident of the area, A Harvard Graduate in Law, and served in WWI in France. His love of steamboats began in the Red Bank area of New Jersery where he grew up. ; Photographs, illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 161 pages .

Author has also signed his name and "Good Luck" on the front free endpaper. Publicity flyer announcing publication of the book is laid in. Errata sheet is laid in.
