Text is clean and unmarked in a square and tight binding. Card holder is attached to the back free end paper. Library stamp on the top of the textblock. Tape residue from attaching a plastic cover to the DJ, is present on the front and back free end papers. Price unclipped DJ is protected by a plastic cover. Photo section included. From the front DJ, "An informal autobiography of 'the last of the outstanding British colonial governors' - a man who has served in most of the world's troubled areas, including Palestine, Cyprus, Nigeria, and the West Indies, and who has now stepped into a wider role of world leadership, working with the developing African nations through UN."
