Dust Jacket Included. 8vo, 23cm, first edition, 566p., with 25 illustrations, appendices, notes, index, red cloth, fine in fine jacket (bks). ~ A substantial biography of prominent English typographer, Stanley Morison (1889 1967). Associated with both the Monotype Corporation and The Times newspaper, Morison was very influential in English typography in the 20th century. He is noted as designing The Times' New Roman typeface.
