Signed by the author on the front free endpaper. 309 pages, index, two pages listing the books in the Rivers of America Series. Illustrated by Gerald Hazzard. The fifty-fifth in the Rivers of America series. Here is the history of the St. Croix River as well as the major development alongside it, especially, the Western side. Many delightful tales about is colorful history that are found here for the first time in one volume. Bound in light green cloth, spine lettering in brown and gilt blocked in brown, spine just a bit faded, previous owner's bookplate, in unclipped pictorial dust jacket showing only light wear to spine ends and a small tear to bottom edge of rear panel. Very nice.
