New York: G. P. Putnam's | The Knickerbocker Press, 1885. Limited Edition. Three Quarters Leather. Near Fine binding. The so-called 'Guadalquiver Edition' of Spain and the Spaniards. Limited to 600 copies, of which this is number 8. From the limitation page" "Nos. 1 to 40 (in two volumes) inclusive are printed upon Whatman Paper, and accompanied by an Extra Set of Proof Etchings and Photogravures, printed upon Satin, and Mounted." The other 540 copies are in one volume only, due to their thinner Vellum Paper, without the extra illustrations. This with 13 Japan proofs, 11 etchings, and 8 photogravures, as called for by the List of Illustrations; 42 additional plates, and one additional title page, for Jenning's Landscape Annual, Or, Tourist in Spain for 1837, Biscay and the Castile's. Three-quarter morocco over marbled boards; raised bands with decorations in compartments and beveled edges. All edges gilt. Near Fine binding.

All sales are subject to availability. We make every effort to ship orders within two business days. Virginia residents please add 6.00% sales tax. Library and institutional billing requirements are accommodated. Returns: We accept returns for any reason within seven days of receipt provided we are notified in advance and the book is returned in the condition it was sold. If the book is not represented accurately we will cover return media rate shipping. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 lbs, or 1 kg. Multi-volume sets, heavy and over-sized books may require additional shipping, particularly if shipped internationally. In this event you will be contacted before the order is processed. The above noted exceptions may apply.
