Includes 14 color illustrations by Leon Bakst, one of which is a double page illustration of the decor for Scheherazade, one costume color plate by Robert Edmond Jones, and nine photogravures. Program has five pages of ads for Fatima Cigarettes, Baldwin Pianos, the Columbia Grafonola, Cecil B. De Mille's film 'Joan of Arc', and Dubonnet Wine. One of the photogravures appears following the Fatima advertisement, but before the other four ads. Partial separation of covers at spine, with nicks (5-10 mm) and bumping around the extremities; diagonal crease to back cover. One ~3 cm closed tear at the head of the front cover. Area of soil near spine on front cover. Small dampstained area at bottom corner of program. Publisher's flaw of a paper crease to pages [14/15], affecting the printing on page [14]. Overall, a very good- copy of a rare edition of the souvenir program from the 1916-1917 tour of Diaghileff's Ballet Russe.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good-.
