Signed by the author, Robert Lacey in biro to the title page. There is also a card from the author to the Lewis' in which the author sends his concern given a health issue - signed by the author. Gilt embossed title to the spine. A slight bump to the tail of the spine and a slight bump to one board corner. The wrapper has not been price-clipped with only light shelf wear. A lovely, clean, tight near fine copy in a very good plus wrapper.
