Signed at free front endpaper: " To Joyce / With all best wishes / from Juan and me / Leo Politi / 1956" , and illustrated with bird and flowers. Pages slightly toned. Book is illustrated at each opening, alternating full color and greyscale with red. Light green cloth boards illustrated in dark green at front and leettered in dark green at spine, corners and spine top and tail slightly rubbed. Dust jacket now protected in library dust jacket cover, toned, rubbed and chipped at edges, with losses at corners and spine top and tail, unclipped. Joints and hinges good, binding firm.
