Black cloth hardcover in good condition - but with wear and bending at the corners and spine tips. Some sunning/discoloration along the board edges and a few smallish spots of white discoloration to the cloth. Top text-block edge is red. Interior is clean and unmarked, hinges and binding solid, though lacking tightness. The dustjacket is heavily sunned, with the rear panel showing the original deep yellow color, but the spine and front panels being much lighter. Original $8.95 price point intact on the front flap. Short tears a the bottom of the front panel and some heavy chipping at the head of the spine panel. Darkening along the top edges of the panel from sun. 337 pp., Morrison's incredible 3rd novel in a first edition - good but with its flaws, and priced accordingly.
