About This Item

1935. Hardcover. Very Good. 11 good-sized photos in corner mounts, one to a page in a small album. Photos approximately 17 x 11cm. Very Good quality photos. Brief captions inked in bottom margin of all but one of the photos. Thin oblong black tied album. Moderate cover wear. Captions: Along the Niger River; Bridge across the River [not the Niger]; Banana Trees; Grass; Preparing Dinner; Termite Hill, Weaving Mats; Weaving Fencing; Cloth-Weaving; and Music while at Work. The uncaptioned photos shows two Westerners on camels and a group of Africans. The English captions make us suspect Nigeria. A car in the bridge picture suggests the 1930's for these undated photos.
