Barre, MA: Barre Publishers, 1969. First Edition . Beige Cloth/Green Boards. Fine/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Number 808 from an edition limited to 1500 copies, INSCRIBED & SIGNED by the author to Walt Thomas on front end page. ALSO inserted is a postcard with Dana Lamb's address in Ipswich Mass. printed at the top and postmarked 1981 - with a holograph note signed Dana to Paul Fitzgerald of The Angler's Club of New York. ALSO inserted is an old facsimile from the Hotel & Motel Belle Plage / Matane on the Sea / Matane, Quebec confirming his plans; Dana wrote a note to "Walt" at the bottom and signed it "Dana." ALSO inserted is a two-page typed letter to Walt Thomas of The Angler's Club of New York (dated October 9, 1962 and on the letterhead of Ingalls & Snyder - Members of the New York Stock Exchange) summarizing his fishing experiences in Canada - St. John River, New Brunswick; Restigouche - Flatlands; Matane, Madelaine; Cap Chat; Matapedia; Miramichi; and Maine Rivers. The letter is signed "Dana" above the typed "Dana S. Lamb." ALSO included is a small b&w photograph (referred in his paragraph on Matapedia) - "of a fairly typical speciman fairly taken by the son of our non-resident member, Archie Torry." Walt Thomas Walt Thomas was active in The Angler's Club of New York at this time and was later president of it from 1964-1965. A unique association copy in fine condition.
