New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1939. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good -. A solid, perfectly serviceable copy of the 1939 1st edition. Clean and VG+ in a bright, price-intact ("$2.00"), VG- to VG dustjacket, with light chipping and creasing along the panel edges and spine ends, and light staining to the rear panel. Still though, very presentable. 12mo, the great Rex Stout's 6th Nero Wolfe mystery.
Synopsis
Some Buried Caesar is the sixth Nero Wolfe detective novel by Rex Stout. The story first appeared in abridged form in The American Magazine (December 1938), under the title "The Red Bull. " It was first published in book form by Farrar & Rinehart in 1939. The novel is included in the omnibus volume All Aces, published in 1958 by the Viking Press.
