London: Gardners Books. Black Boards. 0718147103 370pp. A lovely copy of this signed first edition (first impression - number one in the number string. Flat signed with the author's signature to the title page. Silver embossed lettering to the spine. Illustrated with numerous colour photographs. Colour maps to the end papers. There is a bump to the front edge of the rear board and a light/slight bump to the head and tail of the spine. Slight indentation mark to the rear board with associated slight indentation to the overlying jacket. Fresh and clean. Dust jacket not price clipped with light shelf wear, inlcuding light creasing to the head of the rear inner flyleaf. No nicks, no tears. A very good copy. . Very Good. 2004. 1st Edition.
