Contains black and white photographic frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed, heavier to edges, but text and images remain clear. Binding is firm. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Spine and edges are slightly sunned. Visible dent and a few marks to rear board. Boards are slightly bowed. Unclipped jacket. Noticeable tanning and foxing to all surfaces. Moderate edgewear, with noticeable chipping, tearing and creasing, and areas of loss.

Light tanning to spine and edges. Foxing overall.

The near fine/fine dustwrapper is fresh and clean with just a 3cm cut to the wrapper front panel which is almost unnoticeable o/w fine and fresh with none of the usual fading to wrapper spine. Not priceclipped. An exceptional copy. Part of a small collection of Soccer Club books in outstanding unread condition. .

Covering kept and left in situ to avoid leaving sellotape 'ghost' marks to both pastedowns,if it is removed. Negligible shelf-wear and creasing to edges and corners.
