Tucson, AZ: Tucson Corral of the Westerners, 1975. No 31, Spring 1975 . Soft Cover/Stapled. New/None as Issued. Ronstadt Collection (Archival Photos). BRAND NEW COPY. History of the freight wagon making industry prior to arrival Southern Pacific Railroad, and afterwards, connecting to the railroads. Freight wagons were generally 2 or 3 wagons in tandem, capable of carrying up to 18,000 lbs, and, pulled by 12 to 20 mules --- and, not the least, unloaded wagons required maintenance (wheel adjustments, tire replacement, etc) requiring services of both blacksmiths and wagon makers. Archival photos from the Ronstadt Collection. To note, the F. Ronstadt Company delivered 6 mule-drawn streetcars to the city of Tucson 1903-1904; yes, forebearers of Linda Ronstadt.
