New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1974. First edition. Hardcover. Very good/very good. SIGNED. 171pp. Octavo [22 cm] Olive green cloth over boards. Publisher's bright red topstain. With a remainder mark on the bottom edge of the text block, and bumping to the spine ends and corners. The price-clipped dust jacket is a bit toned, and lightly soiled and creased. Essays, Reviews, Interviews. Edited and introduced by Paul Schlueter. The author has signed the half title page. Lessing writes, "With my best wishes, Doris Lessing, 17.7.80, 24 Gada Garden, Lade (?)" Doris Lessing has also signed and dated a laid in postcard.
