New York: Doubleday, 1950. Book. VG+. Cloth. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Published for the Crime Club, First edition, so stated. Eliot Reed is the pen name for Eric Ambler and Charles Rodda. Black cloth with lilac tiles to the spine. This copy is VG+ in a VG, unclipped ($2.50), DJ. Externally there is minimal soiling to spine, minimal edge wear. Still bright and rich. Inside is clear, unmarked, and tightly bound with the expected heavy toning to the text. Minimal toning to EPs. DJ has modest chipping to ends of spine and tips , but minimal on edges. Modest rubbing to the back. Stll very nice..
