An address to the Bibliographical Society of Australia and New Zealand in 1982; now expanded, and published for the first time. (Adelaide: Sullivan’s Cove: 1987) Printed by hand at the Nag’s Head Press, to the publisher’s design. It is limited to 185 numbered copies, of which the first ten are special. Copy number: 36 S.C.’ (the number and typical signature entered by hand). Cloth with decorated titling piece on front (that is, hard covers) pp. 51. Decorated. Of particular interest, with signed inscription by the Author: ‘For Mrs McGuire, A very humble thank-you for all of your help, support and encouragement over so many years. Valmai Hankel 29 July, 1987’. The recipient was instrumental in the establishment and continuance of the Paul McGuire Maritime Library. Fine copy in like dust-jacket.
