Helmstadt: Jacob Lucius, 1599 Gilded red leather spine label with "Mynsinger Observationum" glued to vellum spine cover, probably from original leather cover. Gold letters faded. Decorative paper on covers. Front hinge cracked halfway down from top; otherwise binding in very good condition.. Foxing throughout. Perhaps half dozen small marginal notes. Bookplate on front paste down from Biblioteca Caproni in Vizzola, Lombardy. 575pp. + list of titles and index. One copy (of 1563 ed.) in U.S. libraries.. Half Vellum. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Tall; 18 x 23.
