Portland, ME: Thomas Bird Mosher, 1916. Hardcover. x, 66p., 4x7.25 inches, prefatory note, rubricated title page with anchor vignette, foreword, five essays, inscription signed by Frances A. M. Bird dated June 17, 1921, second inscription dated 1938 signed F.A.M.B., colophon states "Nine hundred and fifty copies of this book printed on Van Gelder handmade paper and the type distributed in the month of October MDCCCCXVI." Deckled edges, good in boards covered in patterned paper over blue paper spine, lightly-worn spine label with titles in red and black. Missing original slipcase.
