Near fine with publisher's prospectus laid in. Unique association copy of this series of illustrated sonnets by Ardis M. Walker (1901-1991), California historian and poet. Beautiful wood engravings by Western artist from California, Kirk Martin (1906-1991). This from the library of Hungarian-born Los Angeles book binder, Béla Blau. This publication was originally issued as loose sheets housed in a hand-bound slipcase by Blau, who here has done a one-off binding for his personal copy. .
