A very scarce first edition of this historical work depicting the seaport of Liverpool, printed by the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board. First edition, in a cloth binding, with the original wraps bound in. Very scarce. Dated using Jisc, from copies of the work held at the University of Manchester Library. This informative work provides a short history to the seaport of Liverpool, with fourteen full-page illustrations to accompany the text. This port was built in 1715 and is still running to this day, providing an integral link to the rest of the world. Published by the Mersey Docks & Harbour Board. With a folding plate tucked in to the rear of the work, presenting a birds eye view of the port in Liverpool, illustrated in colour. In a cloth binding with the original wraps bound in.
