About This Item
London: Granada Publishing, 1979. 1st English Edition. Dark Blue Boards. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo. 431pp. A lovely, first edition copy, with gilt embossed text to the spine. There are a couple of slight reading creases to the spine - these are concealed by the dust wrapper. Slight indentaiton to the front fore edges of pp 400 -424. A light soil mark to the lower and front fore edges. No inscriptions. Clean and tight. The dust wrapper has been price clipped, and has some fading to the spine of the wrapper. There is light shelf wear - slight creasing- , predominantly around the head & tail of the spine & the rear head of the wrapper. The picture to the wrapper remains clean and bright. A very good copy of this first edition novel.
