London, United Kingdom: T. Fisher Unwin, 1903. Very good condition hardback bound in navy boards showing title lettering clear and definite on spine in gilt lettering. Gilt decoration and title lettering also sharp and legible on front board. 495 pages all present and correct. Contents clean. Tightly bound. Minor signs of wear and handling but a well preserved copy. Signed and inscribed by the author to 'The Earl of Kilmory with the authors compliments' Also has the Earl of Kilmory's attractive armorial bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. This is the 1903 copy which is a lot harder to encounter than the later 1908 copy. An interesting signed association copy.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Very Good. FIRST EDITION.
