About This Item
Indianapolis: The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Inc, 1951. Hardcover. 403p., hardbound first edition (so stated as is customary with Bobbs) in openweave cinnamon-brown cloth, untrimmed foredge; lacks the dust jacket and there is something a little funny with the rear hinge: it is mildly weak, the fascicle protrudes slightly, and there are hints of damp-damage. The book as a whole is quite sound, clean and free of any ownership or institutional markings, all in all a good copy that is inscribed warmly on the front free endpaper and signed in full by Hobart. Terminal episode bares an agenda, presumably Hobart's: compulsory medical insurance for all American citizens.
