Inverness: Northern Chronicle, 1883. . INCOMPLETE, nicely bound Victorian volume containing only sermons 3 to 37, 39 to 41, 47, 49, with a little pen marking and some foxing, especially to the last sermon; BY CONTRAST published editions contain 58 sermons + biographical sketch. In the later published volume Kennedy, who normally preached from skeleton notes, tells how he wrote out these sermons weekly at the request of a friend for a whole year (1882-3) at the close of his life, which were published as individual pamphlets by the Northern Chronicle and later in book form, which went through more than one printing..
